Signs of spring are all around us, and as the cheery sunshine yellow daffodils pop their heads up out of the ground, so we are slowly emerging from our long winter lockdown. I have been keeping busy doing online seminars for industry professionals. Teaching is my passion, and it’s been so nice to see my social media sessions creating quite a buzz – it’s easy to think you have been forgotten! After my interview on Hair Uncut, I have been invited to share my knowledge further with a series of seminars on long hair, which is my speciality.
Getting back into the salon this month will be incredibly exciting. Suddenly the lethargy of lockdown has fallen away and there is so much to do! The phone is ringing constantly with clients wanting to book appointments, and we have to check all the stock and make sure everything is ready to go. We’ve gone from 0-100mph, but it’s so good to see the
bright light at the end of the tunnel.
I’ve also had my first vaccination, which was painless and so easy. I joined a mass of people at Badgers Farm just outside Winchester, and it was so funny to see so many clients with hats and sunglasses on so no one would recognise them with their grey hair! We were all trying to see who we could spot!
